Our banking law attorneys represent multiple financial institutions in commercial, residential and retail transactions, collections, and routinely appear in bankruptcy court to preserve and protect lender rights.
If you represent a financial institution; our attorneys will help you successfully and cost efficiently navigate the ever-changing laws relating to collections and secured transactions. We have also repeatedly defended financial institutions against consumer claims, and strive to provide practical, cost effective solutions in the banking industry. We understand the federal, state, and local regulations that impact your day to day business, and we can appreciate how difficult it can be to follow, and enforce, regulations that are numerous and comprehensive. The Dodd-Frank act alone contains more than 1500 provisions and almost 400 rule mandates. That is just one of many major banking laws, including the Banking Act of 1933, Right to Privacy Act, USA Patriot Act, Banking Secrecy Act, Community Reinvestment Act of 1977, are among the most well known.
Dagger Law recommends using an experienced banking lawyer to help clarify which rules apply to you, and your clients, and under what circumstances those regulations apply. Banks have an enormous influence on the economy as a whole, and it is of the utmost importance that your financial institution is guided through modern bank regulations. Banking regulations are often set up to provide transparency, and reduce risk, to consumers and there can be substantial consequences for not meeting these regulations.
