Mr. Shonk’s focus on financial matters and business affairs, for over 30 years of his legal career, has allowed him to be a valuable legal resource for many local and regional companies around Central Ohio. In addition, his compassionate approach to probate matters has made him a trusted advisor to families and individuals who need legal assistance with estate planning, trusts and probate matters.

 Mr. Shonk has presented continuing legal education seminars, covering such topics as bankruptcy and mechanic’s lien issues, to both trade organizations and outside attorney organizations. He has published articles on labor laws issues that have been featured in law journals.

He was a featured individual in Columbus Business First’s People to Know edition in 2016.

Mr. Shonk received his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University, and his Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Boston College Law School located in Newton Massachusetts.
