Mr. Riegel received his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Wittenberg University and his law degree, cum laude from The Ohio State University in 1977.

He has a litigation practice including personal injury, wrongful death, and  insurance claims, defective product claims, business disputes and eminent domain suits.

Mr. Riegel has written and lectured on the evaluation and settlement of personal injury cases for attorney seminars. He belongs to trial associations and has significant jury trial experience. He obtained the largest damages verdict in Fairfield County, $2.8 million, in a summary jury trial involving wrongful death and personal injury. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

Mr. Riegel has served on the boards of the American Red Cross, Fairfield County Aids Task Force, and Student Mediation Support Board.
