Mr. Michalski is a past President of the Ohio State Bar Association, 1994-1995. He received his B.A. degree from The Ohio State University and his law degree, with distinction, from Ohio Northern University in 1976.

Mr. Michalski had a general practice in Logan, Ohio, but now focuses on real estate, banking, and commercial law. He handles residential and commercial transactions and advises real estate developers on planning and zoning issues.

In addition to being State Bar President, Mr. Michalski was president of the Hocking County Bar Association, chairman of the Board of Governors of the Ohio State Bar Association Young Lawyers Section, a special young lawyer representative to the Ohio State Bar Association Board of Governors, served as the District Nine Representative to the Board and serves on the Council of Delegates. He is a Fellow of the Ohio State Bar Foundation and also served in the House of Delegates of the American Bar Association.

Mr. Michalski serves as chairperson of the Board of Lancaster-Fairfield County Chamber of Commerce, and has been involved in numerous state  and local service organizations. Mr. Michalski and his wife, Paula reside in Lancaster.
