Mr. Happeney received his B.A. degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He graduated from law school at The Ohio State University in 1985.

Mr. Happeney is engaged in the general practice of law with emphasis on family law, civil litigation and adoptions. 
Mr. Happeney has successfully handled hundreds of domestic matters ranging from simple dissolutions to complex divorces involving in excess of twelve million dollars in assets. He is a certified specialist in Family Relations Law by the Ohio State Bar Association.

He is a member of the Fairfield County, and Ohio State Bar Associations and the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers.

Mr. Happeney is a native of Circleville, Ohio. He was the Solicitor for the Village of Bremen, Ohio from 1988-1994 and has served on the Board of Directors of the Lighthouse and the Robert K. Fox Family YMCA.

Mr. Happeney resides in Lancaster with his wife, Marcy, and their three children, Lauren, Mitchell and Clayton.
